PayNow rent collection: what actually changes for you as a landlord

3 September 2026

Most landlords collect rent the same way they did ten years ago: a bank transfer, a reminder text if it is late, and a spreadsheet to keep track of who paid what. It works, but it puts the admin on you.

On Rentie, your tenant pays by PayNow on the due date, with a reference tied to the property and tenancy — so there is never a guessing game about which payment belongs to which unit. Once it is collected, Rentie's fee (0.5% of rent, capped at S$10) is netted off automatically, and the balance is paid out to your bank account by FAST the same business day.

Every payment, on time or late, sits on the tenancy record with a timestamp — so if a dispute ever comes up, neither of you is relying on memory or a screenshot.
