What your annual rental statement should actually show

30 July 2026

When rent comes in as a string of ad hoc bank transfers over a year, working out what was actually received, what was owed and what was paid in fees usually means an afternoon spent scrolling through a bank statement and a spreadsheet built from memory.

Rentie keeps a running statement per property: rent received against what was due, the Rentie fee itemised separately, and the net amount paid out — exportable as a CSV whenever it is needed, not just once a year.

This is general information, not tax advice — keep it alongside your own records for IRAS — but having every figure in one place already answers most of the questions a landlord’s year-end filing tends to raise.
